Heli-taxi to Mt Hutt

We’ve teamed up with Mt Hutt Helicopters to offer you the fastest and most glamorous way of traveling to the Mt Hutt Ski Area!  In just under 10 mins you’ll be clipping in and first in line to get first tracks for the day.  The helicopter takes you on a stunning scenic flight with views from the Canterbury Plains to the East Coast one way and the Southern Alps the other.  The service departs from right outside the chalets and lands you on the dedicated heli-pad in the car park of the Mt Hutt Ski Area.  Flights will depart every morning from 8.15am and returns from 3.30pm.
 
Please note that all flights are weather dependent.  The helicopter will not operate in strong winds and when the mountain is clouded in.  The weather at Mt Hutt can be changing and there is a possibility that you are not able to fly back down in the afternoon.  Alternative transport will be arranged. Charges will apply.
